The DTI x KATSEYE collab is the biggest event Dress to Impress has run so far - and if you haven’t jumped in yet, you still have until May 9, 2026 to grab everything. This is the first time DTI has collaborated with a music group, and the update brought six full member-inspired outfit sets, two new runways, a four-stage quest, a Scavenger Hunt with six charm locations, and 16 free items that disappear the moment the event closes.

This guide covers everything in order: free login items, the exclusive code, how to complete the KATSEYE Quest step by step, all six Scavenger Hunt charm locations, and the full list of rewards before the deadline hits.

Everything New in the DTI x KATSEYE Update

The collaboration dropped on April 18, 2026 and runs through May 9. Here’s what the update actually added:

Six new outfit sets, one inspired by each KATSEYE member - Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, SJ, and Yoonchae. Each set reflects the group’s Y2K-leaning aesthetic and can be used in standard runway rounds and Freeplay.

Two new runways with KATSEYE-themed staging, plus new intermission and runway music featuring tracks from the group. If you’ve been playing matches since April 18, you’ve already heard it.

The KATSEYE Dance Pack - an exclusive emote pack only available during the event window.

16 free login items for anyone who plays during the event period, including hairstyles, accessories, and clothing pieces. These unlock automatically when you earn the “Playing During the KATSEYE Update” badge, which triggers the moment you load into the game.

The KATSEYE Quest launched April 25 - a four-stage mini-game with story, challenges, and three exclusive reward pieces at the end.

The Scavenger Hunt launched May 2 - six charm locations hidden across the map in Freeplay mode, rewarding the KATSEYE Lightstick and Pinky Up Boots on completion.

Step 1 - Get the Free Items and Redeem the Code

Before anything else, log in and grab the free stuff. Simply loading into Dress to Impress during the event period automatically grants the “Playing During the KATSEYE Update” badge and unlocks all 16 free login items. You don’t need to play matches, complete any quest, or do anything specific - just load in.

After that, redeem the exclusive collab code. Open the in-game code system and enter: KATSEYE

This is only the second time DTI has included a code with a collaboration update, so don’t skip it. The code unlocks additional exclusive items not included in the standard login reward set. Both the free items and the code rewards are gone permanently after May 9.

Step 2 - Complete the KATSEYE Quest

The KATSEYE Quest is the main event content. Access it by hitting the Teleport button at the bottom-left of your screen, then selecting the KATSEYE Quest option on the far right of the menu.

Before you enter, do two things: save a completed outfit to your closet, and decide whether you’re going solo or with others. You spawn into the quest with no way to change your look mid-run, so having an outfit ready beforehand matters. Playing with others is recommended - each player’s progress counts toward the shared goal in the timed sections, making the harder stages significantly more forgiving.

One critical rule: if you fail any stage, the game resets you to Quest 1. There are no checkpoints. Stay focused from start to finish.

Quest 1 - Fashion Memory Game The first challenge takes place in the Makeover Boutique. Each KATSEYE member walks the runway and describes their preferred outfit - a specific top, bottom, and shoe combination. You have five seconds per member to vote for the correct option. Get it wrong and you redo that member’s selection. Get through all five correctly and you move to Quest 2.

The trick here is to listen carefully to each member’s description rather than guessing. The choices are distinct enough that paying attention gets you through cleanly. If you’re playing in a group, coordinate votes to avoid split decisions slowing you down.

Quest 2 - Dance Challenge You’re transported to a dance studio where you need to teach the KATSEYE members their choreography. Stand on the highlighted spots as they appear throughout the Pinky Up routine. The KATSEYE logo at the bottom of your screen fills as you progress - keep hitting the marks until it completes. This is the most straightforward of the four stages. Just stay mobile and don’t drift away from the active zones.

Quest 3 - Find All 5 Members (10-Minute Timer) This is the hardest stage and where most players fail. You’re backstage at the show venue and need to locate all five KATSEYE members within 10 minutes. Fail the timer and you restart from Quest 1 - not Quest 3.

Member locations:

  • Daniela - In a room on the left side of the main corridor. Use the ladder to climb down into a hidden area beneath it.
  • Lara - Behind a stack of prop boxes in the far corner of the main backstage room.
  • Manon - In the upper area of the stage, accessible via the side stairs.
  • Megan - Inside the wardrobe storage room, partially hidden behind hanging costumes.
  • SJ/Yoonchae - At the end of the maze downstairs. Follow the wall clues in this order: KATSEYE logo (star badge) → seashell → shield → ventilation fan → divider → anchor → cherry → then continue right until you find them. The game provides an exit guide once you pick them up.

Start with the maze member immediately since navigating it while the timer ticks is where most time gets lost. Clear the maze first, then loop back for the others.

Quest 4 - Recording Challenge The final stage has you filming a rehearsal dance. Move the phone overlay across the screen to cover floating white dots and rack up as many likes as possible before time runs out. There’s no fail state here - just maximize your coverage. Once it’s done, you’re treated to a full Pinky Up performance on stage as the quest conclusion.

Quest Rewards: After completion, return to Freeplay mode and check the changing cabins. Three exclusive cosmetics are waiting: Pinky Up Legwarmers, Pinky Up Skirt, and Pinky Up Corset. These are only available through the quest - no alternate method to unlock them.

Step 3 - Complete the Scavenger Hunt (Week 3)

The Scavenger Hunt launched May 2 and requires you to find six KATSEYE member charms hidden across the map in Freeplay mode. All six charms are in fixed locations - they’re the same for every player and every server.

Enter Freeplay mode and find the charms in any order, though the sequence below is the most efficient route:

Charm 1 - Feed the Cat (Kirameki District) Head to Kirameki District and interact with the large cat plushie right outside. It asks for three items: something green and juicy (the green apple from the item shelf), something gnarly (the sandwich from Lana’s Nail Salon table), and ice cream. You can carry all three at once, which saves significant time on the large map. Hand everything over and the first charm appears nearby.

Charm 2 - Side-Scroller Obby (Kirameki District) Interact with the sandwich on the podium behind Kirameki District. This launches a side-scroller obstacle course. Complete it to claim the second charm.

Charm 3 - Cat Plushies (Kirameki District) Find four cat plushies scattered around Kirameki District and place them in their designated spots on the centre stage. Arrows guide you to the correct positions. Once all four are placed correctly, the charm appears on stage.

Charm 4 - Memory Game at the Subway Travel to the Subway Station - either teleport or take the stairs down through the map. Walk straight ahead and turn right. You’ll find traffic cones scattered around. Interact with the correct cone for each round of the memory challenge. Complete all rounds to unlock this charm.

Charm 5 - Cat Cafe Fish Collection Enter the Cat Café and interact with the Gabriela concept photo on the right wall. You’ll transform into a cat and need to collect 25 blue fish treats scattered around the café interior. Once you hit 25, head to the hangout area to claim the charm.

Charm 6 - Push the Pink Ball (Seishin Gardens) Teleport to Seishin Gardens using the teleport button. Walk forward, head down the stairs, and follow the trail of pink balls. At the last ball, click “Spawn Ball” to summon a large pink ball in the river. Push it all the way to the end of the stream to unlock the final charm.

Scavenger Hunt Rewards: Once all six charms are collected, you receive the KATSEYE Lightstick and the KATSEYE Pinky Up Boots. Both are customisable - the boots have five colour-changeable areas including the main body, highlights, laces, metal accents, and sock section. The Lightstick has four customisable areas covering the body, wire, handle highlights, and the KATSEYE logo at the centre.

Full Reward List

Free login items (16 total) - unlocked automatically by playing during the event. Includes hairstyles, accessories, and clothing from the six member-inspired sets.

Code reward - redeem KATSEYE in the code system for additional exclusive items.

Quest rewards - Pinky Up Legwarmers, Pinky Up Skirt, Pinky Up Corset (from changing cabins after quest completion).

Scavenger Hunt rewards - KATSEYE Lightstick, KATSEYE Pinky Up Boots (after collecting all 6 charms).

KATSEYE Dance Pack - available during the event window.

All of these expire on May 9, 2026. The quest rewards and scavenger hunt items in particular are permanently unavailable after the event closes - no reruns, no alternate unlock paths.

Is the DTI x KATSEYE Event Worth Playing?

If you’re a regular DTI player, this is the most content the game has packed into a single event. The quest is genuinely well-designed - the use of KATSEYE’s actual voices in the cutscenes, the Pinky Up performance at the end, and the way each stage ties into a different gameplay style makes it feel like a proper experience rather than a fetch quest with a cosmetic at the end. The Scavenger Hunt is also a solid way to explore the Tokyo map if you haven’t spent much time in Freeplay mode.

For casual players who just want the free items, logging in once and redeeming the code takes five minutes and locks in 16 items plus code exclusives before they’re gone. There’s no reason not to do that at minimum.

The DTI x KATSEYE event ends May 9, 2026. Quest, Hunt, free items, and code - all of it disappears on the same day.
